Your progress stays in your browser

Saves, streaks and settings are kept in this browser's local storage under names starting with wc1:. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data, or My desk's "Clear my data", removes them. Another browser or device starts fresh.

Analytics

We count visits with Umami, a cookieless analytics tool we run ourselves at stats.idistic.com. It records the page, the referring site, the browser type and country, and a few events such as "edition finished" or "hint used", with the edition or level. It does not record what you type, your answers or your moves, and it does not track you across sites.

Offline

The site installs a service worker so editions you have opened keep working without a connection. It caches only this site's own files.
